Suenan Increíbles

Escuchando a la banda nos damos cuenta que tienen una semblanza en bandas ya conocidas sin mencionar algunas.. nos recuerdan, pero hay un toque muy singular en esta gran banda.. el sonido de la mezcla nos parece bastante alejado de lo que hemos escuchado últimamente.. y parece que tomaron en cuenta elementos melódicos poniéndolos al nivel de la voz.. todas las atmósferas que nos permiten escuchar por encima del poder interpretativo son excepcionales.. Sin lugar a dudas una banda que no te puedes perder.

Finnish Seinäjoki-based deathcore band Boreal Grave brings a gust of brutal power, melodic undertones,

he five-member line-up consists of Henri 
Puoliväli-Oksala (vocals), Ville Mahlamäki (guitar), Matias Mattila (guitar), Mikael Lamminmäki (drums), and Tomi Salo (bass).

I Am Your Bane is Boreal Grave’s debut EP, offering listeners a harrowing journey into the depths 
of human emotion. The EP’s six tracks delve into the darker sides of life and profound feelings in a 
way that leaves no one untouched.

1. Loathe – Explores the dark consequences of bullying, depicting both the victim’s pain and 
the despair of loved ones trying to intervene.

2. Now You Are Free – Dedicated to vocalist Henri Puoliväli-Oksala’s late beloved dog, Telle, 
a lifelong friend and companion. This song conveys deep longing and love while offering hope 
amidst loss.

3. In Devil’s Embrace – Portrays seeking solace in darkness when life has left one feeling 
empty and betrayed.

4. I Am Your Bane – The title track takes the listener into a world of mythical curses where 
humanity’s own darkness prevails.

5. Retaliation – Inspired by a real-life tragedy, the child murder that occurred in Joensuu, 
Finland. The song channels profound rage and sorrow.

6. Mother Of Evil – An epic finale where Diablo 4’s Lilith comes to life in a battle between 
good and evil.

The EP blends the raw intensity of deathcore with the captivating tones of melodic death metal, bringing an entirely new depth to the genre. Recorded at Boreal Grave’s own rehearsal space and mixed and mastered by Diego Fernandez at Oracle Studios, I Am Your Bane is an ambitious work that stands out both in Finland and internationally.

The EP’s first two singles, Mother Of Evil and In Devil’s Embrace, have already gained attention 
within the heavy music scene. The full record, set to release on December 13, 2024, will further 
showcase Boreal Grave’s unique sound to an even broader audience in collaboration with Inverse 
Records.
